Welcome to The Little Shipmates Family!
The Little Shipmates Family was established by parents Helen and Clive in 2000. Both had previously trained and worked in schools throughout the Hampshire area, and came from a strong background in all aspects of education – including teaching, learning and management. Drawing on their own experience and knowledge of the sector, they decided to open the Little Shipmates Day Nursery in Hythe over 20 years ago; a small, cosy centre with 30 places and big dreams.
Since then, The Little Shipmates Family has gone from strength to strength. Bolstered by support from the community, we have been able to add four wonderful new child nurseries to the family. Each centre is uniquely tailored to meet and reflect the needs of local parents and children, creating a truly special atmosphere and a tangible sense of home.
